Os portugueses

The portuguese

A boring week in Belgrade. And what do I hear entering the doors of a 4 triple bunk bed dorm?

A latim kinda language. Muted the music just to check.

Indeed, portuguese it was.

I didn’t say a word for minutes. Just to check it they were worth hanging out with.

They were indeed. Cool couple (not together, not a “pareja” as they tried to explain to the spanish people in the hostel) doing an inter-rail around Europe.

Rita and João from Lisbon.

Went with them for the most crazy (“debochada” in portuguese) night of Belgrade. Actually it wasn’t, really dead. Perhaps we didn’t make it to the hot spots. But it was good to talk portuguese for a while, having ordinary things in common we could talk about.

Thank you for the night guys, hope you had the best of times in your travels.

Say hello to Lisbon for me. See you guys there in 9 months.
